A little snug

I had already sized up to a 12 and they were still a little snug especially with the water retention I experience at certain times in the month. Super comfy and did their job amazingly though!

Excellent front gusset!

These are the best period panties I've tried. If you're like me, you might struggle with most other brands - and even other Modibodis - because the gusset is too far back. I guess I'm a "front flow-er"! Other options usually give me coverage over the bum that I don't need, and not enough coverage over the front - or else I have to buy thick, bulky, nappy-like overnights that run the gusset right up to the seam. Blegh!

These, though? These are absolutely perfect. There's good bum coverage - easily halfway up - but most importantly, the gusset actually comes up to the mons pubis rather than ending barely at, or even below, the top of the vulva! For those of us whose flow likes to head towards the front, yep - get these. Game changers!

The gusset also goes into the groin / short leg a decent way, so I don't have to worry about bleeding sideways onto my thighs, either - a problem I've had with bikini cuts. To top it off, the gusset is SO THIN, but I don't have ANY leakage. This gusset is easily 2-3x thinner than other Aussie brands I've tried with the same absorbency.

I will say that these are not cotton - they definitely give a gym short or legging feel - and while the fit is absolutely true to size (I'm an AU16 and bought an XL), the waistband is a little tight. It's not uncomfortable or ill-fitting in any way, but it's noticeable when you're at your most bloated.

Honestly cannot flaw these at all. I haven't ever been this comfortable on my period, and I've tried numerous…

Just as good as classic ones

Just as good as the non-active boyshort when it comes to being a period underwear. But I find it a bit unnecessary. I did two days of competitions on my period, the first wearing this one, and the second wearing a non-active one and didn't see a difference. And I'm giving a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 like the non-active one because I found the legs to be shorter than the non-active one and so looking less like actual boxers, and riding up more.

Felt absolutely safe during sleeping, running, tennis and miscarriage

Well, my first impression when unboxing them was "this looks like my boyfriend's underwear". But when trying them on, they felt like the most comfortable shorts that you would use under a tennis dress or just for running in hot weather. You could probably use them without having anything over them, as the Puma logo really makes them look sporty and doesn't give away "period" in any way. I actually used this pair during a miscarriage, so the amount of blood it had to take was about 20x more than on my normal worst period day. And I was good to go for the whole day or night. Due to this, I have also used and washed them now for several times and am over the moon about the quality. They have not stretched or tightened up in any way. The only reason I really had to change them after I had them on for several hours and felt uncomfortable for sweating due to pain, but they really took a huge amount of blood and had no leakages. The price was initially a bit uncomfortable for my budget, also I am a tampon user and hate pads, so really anxious about having anything leaking anywhere, but I am very happy with this pair and will buy a few more for sure! I was a bit concerned about the size, but I am glad I decided to go 1 size up. I am a European size M and 38, even with a few extra pounds, so the size M and 40 combination made me confused. Especially for some other models where size 38 looked like 34-36 to me when models were wearing them. However I have to say the photos are very…
